  • In order to remain in good academic standing and graduate from the University of Dubuque, students must earn a minimum 2.00 cumulative and major GPA.
  • 12-17 credits is considered full-time status for the fall and spring semesters.

General Education Requirements

Students are encouraged to take ownership of their degree and course requirements while at UD. The General Education Worksheet lays out the general education requirements that must be met by all students, regardless of declared major.

In addition to the General Education Worksheet, we encourage students to review their Advising Worksheet regularly. The Advising worksheet is an electronic form that shows students what requirements have been fulfilled and what requirements still need to be completed based on their individual major (and minor) requirements. The Advising Worksheet can be found in MyUD.

** The Academic Catalog includes University academic policies, department specific offerings and requirements related to majors and minors and course descriptions, including possible prerequisites.
